If Waltz of the Machine Equestrians’s linked raincoats symbolize the dynamic surface of the fluid connection of an individual to a collective in the present Vietnamese society, then Serpents’ Tails would invite viewers to dive underneath that ever-moving surface, come inside the maze-like structures of pipes and elongated balloons conveying exhaust gas, a by product being created while powering those individuals, propel them forward. The Serpents’ Tails video tells the story of how we are linked extremely intimately in our struggle together for survival and aspirations.
